· Drag & Drop: You can also add files and folder to the list by dragging them into the window from the Windows® Explorer.

Editing your selections:

· To remove an item from the list just click on it to highlight it, then select Remove File(s). This will always remove both the selected item and any sub-items. For example, removing a folder will remove both the folder and all the files it contains, along with any sub-folders.

· You can remove individual files from folders to prevent them from being deleted. However, if you do this you will not be able to wipe the folder where the files are stored because you cannot delete folders that are not empty.

What you can wipe, what you can’t wipe:

· You can always wipe: files on hard disks, floppy disks and most removable media, as long as Windows® can write to them directly. This also includes network drives for which you have sufficient read/write rights.

· You can’t wipe: files on tape drives or files on CD-ROMs of any kind, including writeable CD-Rs and erasable CD-RWs. This also applies for CD recorders configured with packet-writing drivers that enables you to access them like hard disks.

On CD-Rs data that has been written is never deleted, only hidden. To prevent access to this data you must physically destroy the CD-R disc. The data on CD-RWs can only be deleted by the special “delete CD-RW” function provided by your CD recording software. This is because it’s not generally possible to delete single files on a CD-RW, you can only delete the entire disk.
